UTHealth IMM Neuroscience Behavioral Core

Overview of Services

The IMM Neuroscience Behavioral Core provides centralized, advanced behavioral testing services to meet the growing needs of neuroscience research. We offer tools and expertise in behavioral phenotyping, cognitive testing, and neural circuit analysis using small animal models. Our core manager provides service to all users to help design and implement advanced behavior experiments, and he also offers expertise in surgical implantation of devices for neural recording and/or stimulation.
We provide any combination of EEG, EMG, live animal brain imaging, neurostimulation, and basic behavioral tests. We also provide the unique skill of being able to conduct all these advanced techniques during sleep deprivation studies. Our core reduces redundancy and improves data standardization.

*Large experimental plans will undergo consultation (2 hour minimum) and a personalized quote will be generated.
